I overheard this sentence in a conversation a few years ago.
Two girls were talking.
I walked past them.
Those words were all I heard.
I can't recall THEIR faces at all, but for some reason, this (part) sentence has stuck in my mind ever since.
No idea why.
But I'm still intrigued by the story that went with it.

Brings back great memories of an episode in Salzburg, years ago, where I met an American girl in the pub at my hostel. She was a music student, violin.
The next line of dialogue, "His dismembered corpse was found on a roadside two weeks later. This is his story..."
Noooooooo!! That is way too morbid!! Try again.
"...and he gave me crabs, that SOB!" :-)
Reminds me of the episode of Sex & the City when Charlotte got STD from a surfer boy she met at the Hamptons.
