We got some Chinese home delivery the other night, which led me to thinking......is Chinese food the most popular take away/take out/home delivery in the world?I ask this, as every time (well 8 outta 10 times) we get take away for dinner, it's Chinese food!
Other cuisines high on my take away list are Thai, Japanese and Indian, so is it actually Asian food as a category that's in fact the most popular take away/take out/home delivery in the world?
And what do people in places like Brazil, Russia, Pakistan and Norway order "to go"?
Hmmmm.....always the important things in life that I ponder isn't it! ;o)

I'd have to say that the most common delivery food in Chicago (and by extension much of the US) is probably pizza, although we don't hurt for Thai places either.
I'm more of a pizza girl but I love chinese food!
in the uk everyone is obsessed with curry
so i think indian is more popualr here
I'd say where I am in New Jersey in the US we tend to go for Italian more than anything.
Hey Belinda! I guess we eat more Asian food, but we hardly do take outs. We either cook or eat out. When we do take outs, its for pizza! Keep warm! xo
Pizza...of course! How could I forget???? That would surely be THE most popular take out/home delivery meal in the world.
