A friend emailed this World Clock to me today, but I'm not sure if watching it tick over is intriguing or depressing.
Poodwaddle.com (purveyor of this resource) claims stats were gathered from the World Health Organisation, CIA Factbook, US Census Bureau and other sources.

(Sorry, a direct link wouldn't work so you'll have to do a bit of a cut and paste job)

how scary...I just stared at it for five minutes!
That's just bad news after bad news. It must be reassuring, however, to note that all of the divorces and illegal immigrants are only happening in the US. You Australians are so well behaved!

Hello there! Am back in Oz, melbourne... Sun shining, oh it's wonderful to be back!
Have even posted a few pics from my trip. Was mainly in sweden for work, but also fitted in a 5-day trip to Lisbon which was wonderful. Very relaxing spot. Will add more soon.
hey Belinda, you're blogging more often than I am these days! The world clock makes life seem so insignificant and fleeting, like we are nothing but a single number in existence. Life is fleeting, but can be significant if we live consciously. We need to love more, feel more, give more, do more, see more...
