Anyway, it made me remember what I used to play over and over and over again back in my uni days, all great memories.
One of my favourites was an album called Lovelife by UK band Lush. I think they've now disbanded, unfortunately. Have a listen to a bit of Lovelife here.
And then there was Bjork's first major album (I guess you could call it that). Debut was on the top of my 90s list, with Venus as a Boy definitely one of my favourite songs. Bjork's style was so unique at the time, and still is, but I don't think she's ever been able to recapture the magnificence of Debut. What do you think? Have a listen to Bjork's Debut here.
Do you have any 90s favourites?

bjork is amazing, my favorite some from her os oceania...
I've been putting a lot of old CDs in my computer after a lot of my music was accidently erased, and I kept noticing how much of an angry teenager I must have been, with such questionable taste.
That being said, Lush was a great band, and Bjork just got a little weirder with each subsequent release, which as an artist is great, but not as much for fans.
Have you listened to her band the Sugarcubes? That's some 90's for you.
Jennifer - don't think I've heard Oceania. Which album is it from?
Idea of Progress - I think most teenage years are filled with a little angst, so we're all in the same questionable tastes boat! Glad to hear you're not so angry anymore ;o)
Now it's all sunshine and lollipops.
In the 90's I only listened to hiphop & r&b.
'a Tribe Called Quest' with their album 'Midnight Marauders' which was released in 1993, is still one of my favorite albums of all time!!
I've also got Björk's Debut, and Homogenic.
From Debut, the the tracks Play Dead and Come To Me are classics!
Blind Melon is one of my favorite 90's bands.
And iTunes sometimes put music in the "90's Music" folder that is not really "90's Music".
Example: My Led Zep box set was produced int he 90's, so it shows up in the "90's Music" playlist.
